Blaine smiled back at Kurt. “We’re just lucky to have each other I guess.” Blaine finished eating and brought his plate over to the sink. He tried to help Kurt, but Kurt wouldn’t let him, so Blaine settled for plating dessert. He scooped small balls of raspberry sorbet into two little dishes, before putting one homemade chocolate chip cookie in each. He pulled out two spoons to each with, before he was pulled around by Kurt.
“Thank you.” Blaine replied before his mouth was covered with Kurt’s. He leaned into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Kurt’s waist. Blaine let Kurt’s tongue into his mouth, falling into an easy rhythm of kissing. When Kurt pulled back for air, Blaine remembered the dessert he had made. “Oh! Would you like some dessert?”
“Yeah,” Kurt said breathlessly. “Dessert would be nice. Really nice,” he nodded, still reeling from their kiss. Kurt moved back over to the table, admiring Blaine’s handiwork. “This looks really great, Blaine,” he said, sitting down and lifting a spoon to the sorbet. He tasted it and grinned in satisfaction. “This is absolutely amazing,” he said, eating the rest of it quickly.
After eating, Kurt laid back in his chair and watched Blaine eat, a smile on his face. His boyfriend was so amazing, and he did this all for him. Kurt got up from his seat and walked over to Blaine, leaning down to kiss his passionately. “You did all of this for me, the least I could do was.. Maybe.. Return the favor,” he said with a suggestive wink.
Ooc - computer shut down cuz it sucks. I’ll try responding to the para through my sisters phone
“I plan on it,” Blaine replied. “You can be the breadwinner in our family. I’ll play the house husband who just makes you food. Sound good?” He winked at Kurt as he brought his fork up to his mouth. He intertwined his fingers with Kurt.
“You just were you. I think you deserve a storybook romance, Kurt. And I intend on giving that to you. This is just part of that.” Blaine smiled at him. “You’re really special Kurt and I want to treat you that way always. I’ve never made you dinner before and I want to do stupid romantic things for you before…well, before college, because I won’t have much time for them then. I just love you a lot and want to show you.” He shrugged. “I don’t think it’s that big of a deal - just me loving you.”
“Well it’s a big deal to me. Everything you do is big to me. I never thought that I’d be loved like this. I never thought I would have a guy like you, but I do, and I never want to take that for granted. Everything you do amazes me,” he said, smiling slightly, and rubbing his thumb against Blaine’s knuckles. “Thank you for this amazing meal and this amazing night.”
Soon, Kurt was finished with his meal, so he got up and placed his plate in the sink. He called Blaine over with his empty plates and began washing them, insisting that he take care of it after all the work that Blaine put it. They were clean soon, and Kurt turned around, pulling Blaine in by the waist. “You, sir, are an excellent chef,” Kurt said, leaning in to kiss Blaine. Their lips moved together in a dance, Kurt poking his tongue out to seek entrance. They stayed together for some time, before Kurt pulled away for air.
“Of course it is,” Blaine replied in between kisses. He put Kurt down carefully and made his way over to the cooking part of the kitchen, throwing on an apron. “I’ve never done something as stupidly romantic as this for you and I thought that it was time I did.” He smiled at Kurt and turned around, pulling a glass pan from the oven, filled with thinly slice potatoes covered in spices. He turned, putting it down on island in the middle of the kitchen, separating the cooking space from the eating space. Blaine quickly finished the rest of the meal, plating it and bringing it to both place settings the table. He had made a simple salad with a balsamic dressing, lemon chicken, warm bread and potatoes. “Shall we?”
Blaine pulled out Kurt’s chair for him. He walked over the the speakers and continued to play the music that had been playing in the car, before he sat down across from Kurt. He watched Kurt take a few bites. “Do you like it?”
Kurt sat and watched Blaine work, a grin never leaving his face. He loved watching Blaine cook, and the fact that it was all for him made it even more worthwhile. As Blaine served the two of them and sat across from Kurt, he pressed one last kiss to Blaine’s lips and began to eat.
“Oh dear god, Blaine, this is delicious.” He moaned, eating more of the food Blaine had made. “Forget performing, teaching, and acting, you should just make me food forever.” He giggling, indulging on a few more bites. “This is so romantic,” he said, reaching a hand out to find Blaine’s across the table. “This is so sweet of you to do. I don’t know what I did to deserve this, but I love it, and you make me feel so special. Thank you, honey.”
Kurt continued to eat the food feeling so happy that Blaine loved him enough to do this. Looking around, Kurt could tell he put a lot of time into this. Blaine was everything Kurt needed and more.
Blaine checked all the timers on the fancy oven before leaving to pick up Kurt. He yelled at Roxie that he was leaving and that he wanted her gone in a half hour. This night was going to be perfect. Blaine had been thinking about doing this for a while and now seemed the perfect opportunity. It was right before graduation and, although they had the full summer to be together, Blaine wanted to spoil his boyfriend with one utterly romantic night in Ohio. It was like something out of a bad romance novel - Blaine was cooking dinner and had set his kitchen table up fancily - with a tablecloth, candles, and a vase of lilies sitting right in the center.
Blaine drove quickly to Kurt’s house and walked up to the door, one lily in hand. He knocked and saw his beautiful boyfriend at the door. Blaine pecked him on the cheek and handed him a lily. “For you.”
Blaine led Kurt to the car and opened up the door, closing it behind Kurt as soon as he got in. Blaine hopped in on his side and turned on the playlist he had made, one of piano covers of songs they had sung together or that just described their relationship. Blaine had made it long enough so that he could play it throughout dinner. When they arrived at Blaine’s house, Blaine opened Kurt’s door again, leading him to the front door. “Close your eyes,” Blaine whispered to Kurt. He opened the door, smelling to make sure that everything was right, which, thankfully it was. The house smelled of what he had in the oven, just as it was supposed to be. Blaine led Kurt into the kitchen, where the food was cooking and the table was all set up. “You can open your eyes now,” Blaine murmured, before pressing a kiss to Kurt’s lips.
Kurt put the last touches on his outfit, straightening out with tie and added one last spray of hair product. He looked himself over in the mirror and smiled, he looked really nice. A few moments later, Kurt heard a knock at the front door downstairs, and reached for his phone and keys before going downstairs to greet his boyfriend. He graciously accepted the lily and felt his face blush as Blaine pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Thank you, this is so sweet.”
During the car ride, Kurt hummed along to the playlist Blaine had created, noting that it was very romantic. Kurt began realizing that they were on their way to Blaine’s house, and became curious. Weren’t they supposed to be going out for dinner? His worries quickly left as Kurt entered Blaine’s house, the smell of food filling the air, and making his mouth water. Blaine’s hands covered his eyes, but when he let go and let Kurt take everything in, he was shocked. The kitchen looked gorgeous, dimmed lights and a romantically set table. Kurt smiled, and jumped into Blaine’s arms, kissing his lips repeatedly. “Is this all for me, Blaine?”
Of course I do! First of all, if it isn’t overboard, it isn’t Kurt Hummel. And second of all, you deserve extravagance and excitement.
